Our Process

Your journey with DXD Furniture begins with an in-home design consultation. Dave will get to know what is important to you. He will explain the whole process and show you samples and additional pictures from his portfolio. At your home, he will look at the space, the furniture you have in mind and discuss the details.

Next, Dave will produce a computer-generated drawing of the product you’ve described and you will have a chance to make changes.  You will also review and approve the cost of the product. When you place your order, we will confirm with you a description of the piece, the cost, as well as the estimated date of delivery. Most orders take four to six weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the job and the commissioned work that is already in production.

From there, the design will begin to materialize in the production stage. The entire process – from start to finish – is designed, created, manufactured, and delivered by Dave. Often our clients stop by as their piece is being built to confirm wood stain colors, to pick out their door hardware or just to visit with Dave over a cup of coffee. Our quality is unmatched because we control every step of the process.

After we deliver your product, we’re always on-hand to answer any remaining questions, or to make any necessary changes or additions once you’ve begun to live with your new product. We’re just a phone call or e-mail away!
